In the Field

Exclusive photography of some of Scotland’s most charismatic wildlife and iconic landscapes.

Scotland ranks as one of the finest locations in Europe for wildlife and landscape photography with a range of exciting subjects to photograph throughout the year. Located in the Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands  I offer a bespoke personal guiding service for enthusiastic nature photographers who would like to join me in the field.

I offer One-2-One guiding or a One-2-Two service for couples or friends. All photographic abilities are catered for – all you need is a passion and enthusiasm for your subject and a desire to capture the very best that Scotland has to offer.

I also provide guided photography days for small groups of up to 3 persons. This may be with myself or another professional guide.

Winter Wildlife

Winter is a beautiful time in the Cairngorms National Park, a time when many wildlife species are looking their very best. This is an ideal opportunity to photograph one or more of these charismatic species in their winter finery in the spectacular surrounndings of Britain's largest National Park.

Highland Landscapes

Scotland is without question one of the finest locations in Europe for landscape photography. A rich mosaic of snow-capped mountains, tranquil glens, tumbling burns, lush forests and an awe-inspiring coastline ensure a wealth of photographic opportunities at any time of year. The ever-changing weather can sometimes be a challenge but it is the transient nature and unique quality of the light that makes Scotland such a special place to photograph.
